  • Consent: You must provide prior express consent to receive text messages by submitting your phone number via sjtw.org (e.g., a sign-up form) or texting “JOIN” to [insert parish SMS number].

  • Message Content: Texts will include parish-related updates, such as “Latin Mass this Sunday at 11 AM” or “Parish meeting tonight at 6 PM.” We will not send unrelated promotional messages.

  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.

  • Opt-Out: You may stop receiving texts at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. We will remove your number promptly, in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

  • Frequency: Messages will be sent as needed, typically 1-4 times per month.
