School News

Just a reminder to parents to register your child for the 2008-09 school year.  Registration fee is $100 until April 30. 
 We offer both half day and full day Pre-K and full day Kindergarten.  If you are interested in registering your child, please contact the school.  We also offer tours of the school for new parents and children.  Please contact our principal, Mr. John Mundy if you would like to visit St. Joseph the Worker 215-945-4312.

Volunteers needed

We accomplish so much because of the many people who give of their time and talents to our school and our parish.  If you have a special talent and or would like to volunteer your time, please give us a call.

 Bingo

Bingo needs more helpers.  Bingo provides a huge amount of financial support to our school.  Without Bingo, tuition would be much, much higher.  Everyone who works bingo loves it and has fun.  Also, every time someone works bingo, they receive $10 credit toward their fund raising obligation of $300.  Show your support of our school and give Bingo a try, even if it is just one night a month.  Bingo is held every Tuesday and Saturday nights, and the second and fourth Fridays of each month.  For more information, call Linda Lucks at 215-943-4245.

 Lunch and recess supervisors

Help us give our students a safe and enjoyable lunch and recess time.  Volunteers help our students with their lunches and supervise recess.  For more information, call Mrs. Susan Kelly at 215-943-9039.

If you would like to register your child for St. Joseph the Worker, please call the school to make an appointment.  You will need to provide your child’s birth certificate, Baptismal certificate (if not St. Joe’s), Immunization Record and Social Security Card.

St. Joseph the Worker offers a full-day and a half-day pre-kindergarten as well as full day kindergarten.  The Middle States Association accredits our school.  St. Joseph the Worker School adheres to the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
