  SPECIAL MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST
|
Members of this group are parishioners who have been commissioned to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the homebound sick of the parish. People are chosen on the basis of their consistent faith as well as their moral standing in the community. We are in great need of Eucharistic Ministers who would be willing to take Holy Communion weekly or bi-weekly to the sick and elderly who are unable to come to church. Anyone who desires to be considered should express that wish to our Pastor. |
MINISTERS OF THE WORD (LECTORS)

PERPETUAL ADORATION
|
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the monstrance in Our Lady of the Eucharist Chapel in the Effatha Center twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. Parishioners and people from neighboring parishes spend time there in adoration. It is our aim to have you spend an hour a week at a specific time and on a specified day each week before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, although shorter visits may be made also. The mere fact that you take time out at a specific time each week to spend an hour with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament pleases Him very much and is in itself a prayer of great faith.” Whether you can commit to a full hour or a half-hour (or you are already doing so), please let us know. You can call the Rectory to sign up or let us know when you sign in at the Adoration Chapel. Help us fill the 100 hours that are not explicitly covered by an individual.
